Control & Electric Pty Ltd is a wholly Australian owned company based in Canberra and was first established in 1980. The past 30+ years has seen the company grow from an initial staff level of two employees to today’s workforce, which is in excess of 40. The original philosophy of the company however still remains unchanged. That is, maintaining a close relationship with our clients to produce quality turnkey installations with minimum or zero defects. This was initiated in our early years and has been such an important ingredient in our growth.

Our speciality is our ability to provide our customers with a total package of electrical and controls for mechanical HVAC installations in the ACT and surrounding regions. This allows us to combine design drawings, switchboard manufacturing, electrical site installation, automatic controls, analytics, commissioning and back-up service all under the one roof. We believe this combination gives us an advantage over our competitors to offer this package of services locally, for which our customers benefit in knowing that all these packages are being coordinated in-house. Control & Electric is the appointed SIEMENS Building Technologies Solution Partner for Canberra and Newcastle and has now been installing SIEMENS Apogee Building Management and Control Systems since 1985. This makes us undoubtedly one of the most experienced and well established Mechanical Electrical and BMCS suppliers in our region. We believe we have an outstanding track record for delivering installations that are commissioned right, function correctly, are reliable, energy efficient and fully supported by locally based resources. We also pride ourselves on our ability to think a project through and many of our best achievements have come from projects where our clients have brought their design problems to us. This is where Control & Electric’s human resources and problem solving skills have enabled us to design and custom build innovative equipment and control strategies for cost effectiveness and practical results. We have extensive experience in a variety of different buildings such as hospitals, operating theatres, data centres, museum’s, galleries, high security quarantine laboratories, factories and of course office buildings. This experience includes large BMCS installations performed live in occupied buildings where sensitivity to building conditions, building contents and building occupants are of paramount importance. While the strength of our company is with SIEMENS Building controls, mechanical electrical and backup service, we are equally competent in the following fields with respect to electrical and automated control applications.
